carbochem is a privately held, us corporation headquartered in the suburbs of philadephia. the business was established in 1981 to service specialty markets such as catalysts, pigments, water treatment, ceramics and food processing.
in 1987&1990 two manufacturing operation were established in shanxi and fujian with complete lines of activated carbon products based on us technology. product quality is guaranteed by a comprehensive quality control program, which is supported by iso9002 certification.
we are keeping focusing on developing special decolorizing grades of carbon for food processing applications such as sugar, glucose, msg and fruit juice and supplies to the major wine and fruit juice producers in australia, argentina and south africa and also is the largest supplier to coca-cola for their hot melt sugar process.
herein in 2004, we set up our domestic company (shanghai zanfen trading& business co., ltd) in shanghai to coordinate all business activities including liaison with partner factories, sales, financial and logistics.
our guiding principle of the business are based on a long-term philosophy with dedication to providing customer service and satisfaction. the key elements to this approach include an emphasis on quality, reliability, technical innovation and value pricing. product supply is guaranteed by maintaining local inventories and a world-wide network of distributors. the customer based spans every continent and includes 500 companies such as chevron, coca-cola, dupont, pepsi, ge, haisheng and etc.
