飞达帽业控股有限公司于一九八六年在香港成立，由集团主席颜禧强先生与其妻子，即集团副主席兼董事总经理颜颜宝铃女士，共同创办。集团主要从事优质帽品的设计及生产，并于中国深圳、东莞及番禺自设厂房，生产一系列拥有专利商标的休闲及时尚帽品，包括棒球帽、渔夫帽、冬天保暖帽、喼帽、礼帽、头围及太阳帽。厂房占地逾80,000平方米，聘有约3,500名员工。集团的客户均为世界驰名、家喻户晓的品牌，如newera、华纳兄弟、nba、mlb、ncaa、callaway、titleist、kangol、lecoqsportif及oakley等。目前，飞达帽业每年生产超过三千万件帽品及超过五千个崭新设计，于专利帽品市场中稳占领导地位。
集团于二零零四年与美国着名帽品零售商╟hatworldcorporation签订协议，于香港及中国开设「lids」帽品零售店。此举不但有助集团进一步扩阔收入来源，同时更为其帽品制造业务缔造可观的协同效益。
集团凭借「lids」帽品零售店建立了一个稳健的零售平台，并于二零零五年三月与promotionalpartnersworldwidelimited于香港成立合营企业，共同于中国市场开设sanrio/hellokitty专门店。此业务合作进一步扩展集团的业务范围，由帽品零售业务至其它专利品牌产品，成功为集团开拓新收入来源。
集团于二零零七年三月成功取得国际足球协会(“fifa”)的品牌帽品于2007至2014年期间之全球专利生产权。
于二零零六年六月，集团收购健豪制帽（番禺）有限公司，该厂生产***时尚品牌帽品，包括「kangol」品牌。此收购进一步拓展集团生产的帽品类别，至针织及其它时尚帽品。此举不但有助集团进一步渗透美国市场，同时加快推动集团业务扩充至较追求时尚的日本和欧洲市场。
飞达帽业于二零零零年十二月成功于香港联合交易所主板上市。同月，集团获英国bsi颁发iso9002质量认证，此项认证于二零零二年获提升至iso9001：2000，并于二零零九年获进一步提升至iso9001：2008。于二零零六年，集团取得iso14001质量验证，并于二零零七年及二零零八年分别取得「环球服装生产社会责任组织(wrap)」证书及成为美国公平劳动协会(fairlabourassociation)供货商会员。
集团副主席兼董事总经理颜颜宝铃女士曾荣获「二零零一年香港青年工业家奖」。飞达集团则于二零零三年取得香港工业奖之「出口市场推广大奖」暨「生产力」奖两项殊荣。于二零零四年，飞达集团在《经济一周》举办的「香港杰出企业巡礼2004」中，获选为二十家杰出企业之一。同年，颜颜宝铃女士荣获由香港董事学会颁发的「2004年度杰出董事奖」及由dhl与南华早报合办的「二零零四年dhl/南华早报香港商业奖」中的「东主营运奖」。于二零零六年，主席颜禧强先生荣获由亚洲知识管理协会主办之院士荣衔，并于二零零八年获委任为该会之荣誉顾问。集团并荣获香港管理专业协会举办之「二零零六年度优质管理奖」铜奖。于二零零八年，集团夺得美国hatlife首年举办之「hattyawards」殊荣。于二零零九年，颜颜宝铃女士获香港特区政府颁授铜紫荆星章。
