深圳市保健科技学会是由深圳市卫生保健科技方面的专家，学者，企业家以及海内外热心保健科技事业的各界友好人士联合组建的学术性社会团体。属市政府科协主管，市民政局注册的法人社团组织。
本会贯彻执行国家科学技术工作和卫生保健工作的方针政策，团结组织广大保健科技工作者，大力宏扬中华医药保健传统文化和现代保健科学技术，促进中外保健科技的学术交流和业务合作，积极推动生物医学工程研究成果的产业化开发及保健科学技术的转化和应用，目前已与“美国基因研究院”（AMERICAN NATIONAL GENETIC INSTITUTE）合作对基因工程的研究开发。同时，开展保健科学技术决策论证，为政府提供决策依据。
本会开设网站，编辑，翻译，出版保健科技方面的科普读物，学术专著和期刊，宣传推广保健科技成果和高新保健科技产品，协助企业提升国际市场竞争力。
Shenzhen HealthCare Science Technology Society is the academic society jointly organized by experts, scholars, entrepreneurs of Shenzhen's health science circle and friendly people who are keen on health science work from all walks of life both at home and abroad. Directed by the Scientific Institution, the society is a corporate body registered in Bureau of Civil Affairs.
Fully implementing the national policy of science and technology and health science, the society by uniting the majority health care practitioners vigorously promotes the traditional culture of Chinese medical care and modern technology of medical care and actively pushes forward the industrial development of the research results in biomedical engineering and the transformation and application of health science technology. At present,the society has already cooperated with American National Genetic Institute on research and development of genetic engineering. Meanwhile, the society develops the policymaking proof of health science technology, providing policymaking foundation for the government.
Setting up website, the society edits, translates and publishes popular science books, academic monographs and periodicals. It also publicizes and promotes the scientific results and high and new health technology products, assisting the society i market competition in the international market.
